CYBERIA,1575,SAV-9907140283,00.html GLEN ELLYN Trustees voted Monday to establish a demolition contractor tax, adding $500 to the cost of tearing down a building or any part of it. Village officials estimate the tax could generate as much as $13,000 annually. The revenue is destined for a special programs fund for the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and for historic preservation activities. "The intent is to supplement what the village already gives to these programs," said David Cox, assistant to the village administrator.
