Summer Events at Pueblo Grande Museum (PGM)

The Museum's summer program "THE HOHOKAM EXPERIENCE"
will begin June 8th. This program introduces kids to
the Hohokam and archaeology through 4 half-day
sessions per week (one session is for 10 days).
Sessions include digging in a simulated site, making
Hohokam crafts, and harvesting foods of the desert.

This program is in its 20th year, for children from
6-14, depending on the session. For more detailed
information visit http://www.ssv1site.com/pueblo or
call PGM at (602) 495-0901.

For the family, Pueblo Grande will be holding "Beat
the Heat" guided tours at 7am on Saturdays in June
and July. There will be tours of the PGM Hohokam
Platform mound and tours to the Hohokam canals in
the Park of Four Waters can be arranged.
