Anthropology Biographies
Readers, please respond to Ms. Henderson directly. From: Linda Henderson linda.henderson@thc.state.tx.us Project Assistant, Texas Historical Commission I am researching archaeologists and anthropologists with whom our executive director worked. I have no idea if the individuals on my list are living (I think some are), and I don't want to insult anyone. I believe the majority were at one time involved with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but I know some were not. I suspect those on the list are influential, but I need to learn where, how, and why. If you have any information, I would appreciate hearing about the basics: education, career highlights, life span, etc. Any tiny bit would be helpful as would any direction you might steer me in. Also, is there any sort of encyclopedia or biography collection of anthropologists? Oscar Lewis Joe Casagrande Pedro Armillas Carlton Coon John McGregor Frank H. H. Roberts
