ARIZONA ARCHAEOLOGY PARKS MEETING
December 3, 1998 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PUEBLO GRANDE MUSEUM AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
4619 E. Washington, Phoenix

Sponsored by the Archaeology Advisory Commission, the State
Historic Preservation Office, Arizona State Parks, and
Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an informal forum
for the discussion of issues, problems, concerns, and needs
that archaeological parks/preserves are currently facing. It
is hoped that this gathering can lead to a greater
understanding of the complex logistical and ethical challenges
related to stewardship, protection, preservation, and
interpretation that are involved in the daily operation and
management of archaeological facilities that are open to the
public.
