We regularly advocate the development of archaeological resource protection
plans in the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center's ARPA training
program. The response by some participants is the desire to develop such a
plan for their land management unit or for a region. This causes them to
ask us for models on which they can base their plans. Currently, we only
have one model which is a somewhat out of date protection plan developed
for the Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana in the late 80's.

Do any of the users of the SWA internet site have examples of more current
archaeological resource protection plans developed for federal or state
land management units or for regions which we could use in the FLETC
course? If so, please contact me at my e-mail address or by phone at
406-728-7195 so I can arrange to get a copy.

Thanks for your help.
