Message #53: From: AzTeC SW Archaeology SIG To: "'Matthias Giessler'" Subject: New Mexico Archaeological Council Web Page Date: Wed, 22 Jan 97 17:10:00 MST Encoding: 30 TEXT [ You may find a link to NMAC's web page on the SWA NM page at http://www.swanet.org/nm.html -- SASIG Ed. ] From: Todd Logan Vanpool The New Mexico Archaeological Society has a new homepage. Its address is http://www.unm.edu/~vanpool/nmac.htm. It provides information about the NMAC organization and will soon include a great deal more information and references about New Mexico archaeology. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the homepage is the job bazaar. The job bazaar provides an opportunity for CRM and academic organization with job opening to advertise their positions. Interested individuals can then contact the firms and apply for the openings. Please send any announcements of job openings to me at email@example.com. Job postings will remain posted for 2 months or until I am informed they are no longer valid. NMAC does not charge for this service and everyone is welcome to view the jobs available. Additionally, NMAC members seeking employment are welcome to post their resumes on the NMAC web page. Prospective employers will be able to search through the resumes, select individuals ideal for their needs, and give them a call. This will be particularly useful when CRM firms are looking for temporary employees to help fill their ranks on survey or excavation projects. Once again, NMAC does not charge for this service, but only NMAC members will be allowed to post their resumes. If you would like to join NMAC, the information is available through the NMAC homepage.
