On November 12, the President signed into law the Omnibus Parks and Public 
Lands Management Act, Public Law 104-333. The
statute reauthorized funding for the Advisory Council on Historic 
Preservation at $4 million a year through the year 2000.  The new law should 
be available soon (check http://Thomas.Loc.Gov/; Scan the page to find 
the heading BILLS, and click on Public Laws This Congress: By Law Number.
