I've been slowly going through your web site -- it's great! Really
absolutely top-notch site.  Years ago, in my youth, I had fantasies about
being a vertebrate paleontologist -- lots of classes in geology and
paleontology, took a field trip through the Southwest, and got hooked on
canyon country.  I travel there whenever I get a chance.

Reading through your SWA editorial -- at the end you talk about school kids
arranging meetings with pro  archeologists.  That's a great idea, and maybe
you should try to formalize it into some kind of program --
something vaguely like the Earthwatch program, where people pay for working
vacations at various scientific sites -- except cheaper...of course, it
would be a lot of work for the professionals involved...
