A capitol idea in context. I like the idea because of the potential of
interpretative value impressing all ages. Have you considered including
living historians as well, individuals who take on a personae and give a
feeling for history in the first person. This approach has value because it
brings history to life and the information makes an impression that stays.
What can I say, a plug for the ol' oral tradition. If you are interested, I
have a list of contacts for the state. I know that Peter Pilles does a mean
impression of a 1920s archaeologist. I also have information on manuscript
repositories, their collection strengths and who to contact for historic
photos and historical information. Well, the reference librarian came out
again. I better duck my head and get to the patrons here.
