I suppose this includes Los Alamos NM and other Cold War research sites in
the American Southwest:

The first study will be a comprehensive overview of military research and development facilities used during the Cold War. The second study will focus on military weapons production facilities and will also include depot level aircraft maintenance facilities and GOCOS. HQ ACC has funded these studies as part of a larger program to develop a Cold War context.
