Sometimes it is wise to compare state statutes to see how states might
differ in their approaches to management. If you are interested in reading
California's statutes related to archaeology and historic preservation,
follow these steps:

1. Open your web browser and point at http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html
2. Check the box 'Public Resources Code'
3. (Optional: also check the box 'All')
4. Enter keywords (e.g., archaeology, historic preservation, etc)
5. Click the 'Search' button
6. Point at the hotlink(s) returned by the search
