Sharlott Hall Museum (Prescott) will be offering Museum Members an
opportunity to join a dinosaur digging field expedition during the week
of September 15-22. Up to twenty persons will head to two of Utah's
most exciting dinosaur quarries. Participants will live outdoors,
receive training in digging and preservation techniques, and work with
professional paleontologists. The cost to members is $500 (about 1/3
the avg national price for similar outings), which includes all
transportation, food, visits to a host museum, nightly astronomy lessons,
campfire-lit guitar sing alongs, and a visit to a Native American rock art site.
