New Mexico Archaeological Council (NMAC) Meeting and Events will be
posted on the SASIG. Information will be forwarded as soon as we
have some firm dates for upcoming NMAC events. NMAC will try to
stumble into the information age this year, so things should get
better! There is one event coming up that I can mention. On
April 27 and 28 we hope to have a field trip to the Chuska Slope.
However, the trip and dates are subject to Navajo Nation approval.
I can also mention that NM Heritage Preservation Week will be May
11-19 this year, and will feature an Archaeology Fair at Salmon Ruin
on May 11 and 12. People interested in participating in the week or
fair can contact Lynne Sebastian at
(sebastin@arms.state.nm.us).
