ARTIFACT LABS ON THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS. Old Pueblo Archaeology Center is offering opportunities for avocational archaeology volunteers to participate in historical and prehistoric site excavations and to help with artifact curation processing on Fort Huachuca, near Sierra Vista, under a contract issued by the U.S. Army through Tucson's Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. APRIL 8 & APRIL 22 ARCHAEOLOGY DIGS AT THE SABINO CANYON RUIN Old Pueblo Archaeology Center will offer an archaeological dig open to the public at the Sabino Canyon Indian Ruin on April 8 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $35 per person for one day or $50 for two days, April 8 and April 22. APRIL 15 FAMILY ARCHAEOLOGY DAY AT THE OPEN1 DIG SITE From 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday April 15 kids and family members ages 8 and up can discover artifacts and learn about archaeology through hands-on participation.
