Conference Logo

Victor Leshyk, Senior Scientific Illustrator & Dan Boone, Imaging Lab Director, with the Bilby Research Center at NAU contributed their talents & efforts to modify a pottery design & collaboratively create the Pecos Logo for 2008.

The logo came from designs published in Beals, Brainard and Smith (1945).

The Conference Committee went with Dr. Downum's suggestion of the RB/MV pot that has both Flagstaff B/W and Tusayan Poly in the bowl design. It well symbolizes the theme of cooperation, collaboration and success.
