Special Events ...
Brew
As
usual, we are going to have a home brew contest and
Tim Seaman will be organizing this event. If you have
questions, get in touch with Tim at timseaman@direcway.com.
If you are interested, you can register at the conference.
If you have beer to be entered in the brewing contest,
please have your entry delivered to Tim Seaman by 10
am, Saturday. The actual judging will take place
in the gossip tent at between 1 pm and 5 pm
on Saturday.
Old
Vehicles
We
have also had a request to have a classic field vehicle
or any kind of classic vehicle show. So far a 1947 Willys,
1969 BMW, 1957 T-bird, 1948 Chief and a 1943 Jeep will
be displayed at this Pecos Conference. Get in touch

Pottery
Firing
Eric
Blinman will be conducting an experimental pottery firing
on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Eric will
be testing clay sources from the Pajarito Plateau and
environs with hopes of providing more information on
the Santa Fe Black-on-white problem. If anyone is interested
in firing their pottery, please contact Rory Gauthier

) to ensure we can accommodate you.
Music
The
entertainers for the Los Alamos County Fair and Pecos
Conference have been selected. Both concerts will be
at 7:00 pm at Ashley Pond. Both are country-western.
